This role will involve the practitioner working within the team in a busy Cardiology department providing a range of complex cardiology investigations...
- Ensure clinical safety standards are met when supervising all rehabilitation sessionsin line with service policies.
- Maintaining all records associated with the Cardiac Physiology Team an organised and confidential manner in accordance with Code of Conduct and Caldicot Principles.
- Prepare Clinical areas and maintain clinical equipment, reporting any faults immediately to line manager / service lead.
- Assist in the daily cleaning and regular cleaning of equipment as per infectionprevention and control standards.
- Perform supervisions of assistants and students as necessary.

Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training
Essential
- Degree in Clinical Physiology/Healthcare Science (Specifically Cardiac)
Desirable
- Membership of relevant clinical interest groups e.g.,RCCP, BHRS, etc.
- Demonstrable experience of the application of cardiac physiology in regard to clinical assessment.
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Knowledge of Clinical Cardiology tests in relation to cardiorespiratory disease.
- The ability to perform and demonstrate a range of basic testing for those attending clinical sessions.
- Experience in the safe and correct use of a range of equipment.
- Basic IT skills.
Desirable
- Experience of using software for developing A&R and presentations.
- Good clinical reasoning skills based on evidence and current research.
