Front of house &
reception support: welcoming visitors, answering calls, taking
accurate messages, and providing a warm, professional first point of contact.
General office
administration: scanning, filing, updating records, processing
mail, generating letters, and keeping systems accurate and up to date.
Customer service
communicating clearly and sensitively with service users, families, colleagues
and external professionals.
Service support
ordering supplies, handling petty cash in line with policy, and reporting gaps
or issues to managers.

Experience
Essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Willing to undertake training relevant to the post
- Clerical, administrative or reception experience (minimum 3 months)
Desirable
- Clerical, administrative or reception experience (minimum 1 year). Experience within a customer care, healthcare, education or social care setting
- Reception Experience
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Effective interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of colleagues and service users, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work with discretion, sensitivity and maintain confidentiality
- Punctual, cheerful, reliable and dependable
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload within a busy environment
- Able to contribute to the changing demands of the service
- Accurate and Efficient IT and Keyboard Skills
- Willing to travel to work at other sites to cover absences, for training etc.
Desirable
- Interested/enthusiastic about working within our services
Qualifications
Essential
- Good general education e.g. GCSEs or equivalent
Desirable
- Relevant administrative or IT qualifications to NVQ level 2 or equivalent experience
