The post holder will be in daily contact with ward and service managers and staff within the hospitalProcurement - Clinical Specialists, Contracts Team, Customer ServicesDivisional team engagementWard review meetingsH&S to include Major IncidentFinance - e-Financials Systems Team, Accounts Payable.Other hospital services including Facilities, EstatesAll levels of Trust staff

Education/Qualification

Essential: - GCSE Maths & English or equivalent; - NVQ 2 or equivalent

Experience

Essential

  • Knowledge of receipting/ stock control systems and delivery procedures
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of databases
  • Experience of working in a busy environment
  • Manual Handling skills
  • Basic safety and proper lifting procedures
  • Proven ability to work without supervision
  • Ability to plan own workload

Desirable

  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Proven knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Proven knowledge of electronic stock management
  • Knowledge or receipting / stock control systems and delivery
  • Experience of mechanical handling equipment to support the team
