We're looking for experienced receptionists and administrators who want to work on an 'as and when' basis to join our in-house bank of administrators. Our bank administrators help to ensure that wards, departments, community teams and local GP practices across the Trust are always supported with expert admin help.
As a bank worker, you can work flexibly to fill a temporary vacancy or short-term staffing shortages. You may be asked to work at any time, with just a few days' - or hours' - notice.
Joining the Trust Admin Bank will give you lots of variety so it's a chance to learn new skills in different environments. One day you could be in a clinical setting or GP practice and the next, a Head Office assignment.
If you would like to work within our organisation and have proven experience as an Administrator, have GCSEs Grade C in English and Maths or above, we would be interested in hearing from you. We would also welcome applicants to apply who have previous experience in
Specialist NHS software knowledge PAS, Choose and Book, Employee On-Line, Health Roster
Handling a large volume of emails and telephone calls
Familiar with Microsoft Packages, such as Excel, Outlook etc
Data entry
- Liaise face to face with patients and colleagues/Managers in a professional manner
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot queries

Qualifications
Essential: - QCF/NVQ Level 2 in Business Admin or equivalent qualification

- Fast and efficient in: Microsoft Office, word processing, electronic diaries and file management, Excel
- Conversant with internet for information search.
- Willingness to learn new applications relevant to the job
Desirable: - Computer competent.; - Typing letters to a high degree of accuracy
Flexibility
Essential: - Participation in flexible work patterns / shift working may be required, to meet the needs of the service
