  • To work closely with the service manager in the development of effective systems and processes for the collection of performance outcomes in relation to non medical prescribing and other related outcomes within the service.
  • To be an independent practitioner within the service
  • To manage a defined caseload for prescribing within the service and ensure that non-medical prescribing enhances service delivery.
  • Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical care within agreed parameters', and have a working knowledge of local, national policies and legislation that govern role and service provision
  • To ensure that service users have a good awareness of prescribed medication including potential side effects.

Main responsibilities will be

  • Running daily clinics commencing prescribing or reviewing clients medication, hold a case load of prescribing clients. will have a lead in a certain are of the service
  • will participate in senior meetings
  • work alongside service manager and consultant writing and reviewing pathways and guidelines.
