This is an exciting and challenging post, providing Occupational Therapy intervention for patients in both ward and intensive care areas, with respiratory, cardiac, medical, surgical and critical care conditions. This includes ventilated patients and those with tracheostomy or laryngectomy.

You will have the opportunity to take on team leadership responsibilities, including supervising band 5 therapists, support workers and OT students. Excellent communication skills; the ability to work well in a team; an interest in the training and supervision of staff, and a positive and flexible approach is essential.

You will be joining an established Therapy team of Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Support Workers supported by a Clinical Lead Therapist.
