- To work as an important member of the Multidisciplinary Team within UHBW, providing support to patients (both inpatients and outpatients), and their families.
- Undertake and perform simple interpretation of a range of diagnostics and assessments in sleep studies.
- Support the implementation of treatment plans and ongoing monitoring of treatment.
- Communicate basic interpretation of results to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Support provision of the telephone support line and emails for the Home Ventilation service.
- Triage urgency of calls and action requests following agreed protocols.
- Ensure accuracy of clinical information on Careflow by liaising with administrative staff.

Qualifications and Training
Essential
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade A-C including English and Mathematics
- NVQ3 or equivalent in relevant subject
Desirable
- Customer Service Training
- NHS Experience

- Able to deal with exposure to bodily fluids (urine, sputum)

Knowledge and Experience
Essential
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Experience of working with the general public, including vulnerable adults patients/relatives in sensitive situations
- Use of computers, including Microsoft Office
- Experience of working with a multidisciplinary/multi-skilled team
- Experience of working in a clinical environment
Desirable
- Experience of stock management and ordering
- Knowledge of NIV
