Associate Medical Director

Working closely with senior clinical and

operational leaders, contribute clinical leadership and insight to the ongoing

development of the Federations strategic vision, future direction and service

design, ensuring that delivery meets organisational priorities and the needs of

Haringey residents.

Play a key role in the strategic leadership of

neighbourhood working across Haringey, including the Haringey Neighbourhood

Integrated Neighbourhood Teams development, working with member practices,

PCNs, the Haringey Integrator and wider partners to shape and deliver

integrated neighbourhood models of care.

Practice at neighbourhood, borough and West and North London level, working

with partners to ensure that General Practice is central to the developing

Integrated Care System and neighbourhood health model.

Promote the vision, aims and values of

Haringey GP Federation.

Continue to strengthen an ethos that all

our work is patient-centred, values-based, reduces health inequalities and

recognises General Practice as a core partner in integrated neighbourhood care.

Support the development, mobilisation

and improvement of Federation services, co-designing with management leads,

clinical leads, member practices, PCNs and neighbourhood partners.

Provide clinical leadership in setting up,

mobilising, running and reviewing Federation services, ensuring clear

governance, workforce arrangements, performance measures, safe delivery and

continuous improvement.

Contribute to the development of

clinical pathways, standard operating procedures and governance arrangements,

ensuring safe, high-quality care and effective interfaces between General

Practice, community, mental health, acute, local authority and voluntary-sector

services.

Support the

operational team to identify appropriate clinical leadership, governance

requirements, outcome measures and delivery plans for new and existing

services, including services delivered at neighbourhood and borough level.

Provide oversight, direction and

supervision to clinicians leading specific workstreams and services. The

portfolio will be agreed with the Medical Director and CEO may include

integrated, prevention, access, health-inequalities and neighbourhood services.

Direct and

oversee clinical care using regular 1-1 meetings and annual appraisals with the

clinical leads

Support and

enable clinical and non-clinical staff to strengthen practice and PCN

engagement, contribute to neighbourhood working and deliver change across

organisational boundaries.

Clinical Governance

Review and

improve policies, procedures and documents to support good clinical governance.

Provide

clinical insight and support to the review of complaints, incidents, and

audits.

Support the

Federation in maintaining a good CQC and work to achieve an outstanding rating

Haringey GP Federation is a dynamic and growing organisation working in partnership with GP practices across the diverse borough of Haringey, north London.
