- To gather, analyse and interpret relevant psychological and clinical information to support assessment and formulation under the supervision of qualified psychologists.
- To apply psychological knowledge and evidence-based approaches when considering individual needs and contributing to clinical decision-making.
- To use appropriate judgement when identifying concerns, recognising limitations of own knowledge and skills, and seeking advice or supervision when required.
- To maintain accurate and appropriate records and use information from a range of sources to support the planning and delivery of psychological interventions.
- To contribute to the evaluation and review of interventions and projects, using relevant data and feedback to inform practice.

Qualifications
Essential
- An upper second class honours degree or higher in psychology.
- Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
Knowledge
Essential
- A good knowledge of lifespan psychology applied to health care.
- An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with psychological/mental health difficulties or other disabilities.
Skills
Essential
- Ability to undertake psychologically informed research projects, under supervision.
- Experience using computers for databases or data- analysis.
- Ability to work with people from different backgrounds and of different ages.
