Assistant Psychologist

As an Assistant Psychologist at Elysium Healthcare, you will be involved in supporting men and women with complex Mental Health needs. What you will be doing

You will be supporting men and women with complex Mental Health needs, alongside addressing conditions like depression, self harm, physical health concerns, and psychological distress including trauma.

As an Assistant Psychologist you will have the opportunity to assist with assessments, formulations, and treatment to our service users, under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist. You will also assist in clinically related administration including conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching, and project work.

Thornford Park is a 141 bed hospital set within 21 acres of Berkshire countryside, offering a seamless care pathway across medium and low secure services, psychiatric intensive care units (PICUs), and rehabilitation flats. The site supports men and women with complex Mental Health needs, Personality Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Autism—often with histories of offending or previous placement challenges.
