Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their AMHP Team. Fantastic payrate of £40 per hour! Undertake Mental Health Act assessments and make decisions in accordance with relevant legislation, codes of practice and professional standards.Coordinate and lead complex assessments involving individuals experiencing mental health crises, working collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals.Provide expert advice and guidance on mental health legislation, safeguarding and risk management.Complete high-quality assessments, reports and legal documentation within required timescales.Participate in the AMHP rota, including responding to urgent and out-of-hours assessments where required.Maintain strong partnership working with health services, police, local authorities and community organisations to ensure positive outcomes.Work on a full-time, primarily office-based basis (typically 3-4 days per week in the office), whilst undertaking community-based assessments and visits as required. Working Pattern: Full-time AMHP. Primarily office-based, with an expectation of 3-4 days per week in the office. The role also requires travel to undertake Mental Health Act assessments and related duties across the local area. Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience Benefits of working through Reed, include:
