We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels across the Trust. You will need to be resilient, flexible and informative as well as having a positive 'can do' attitude.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential, in particular in Excel, in order to record, monitor, analyse and report compliance for appraisals and job planning.

The post holder will deal with queries in person, by telephone, and by email from doctors, managers and appraisers regarding revalidation, appraisal, 360 feedback and job planning.

They will maintain and update the electronic systems relating to appraisal, revalidation and job planning for doctors, including administration of user accounts, data entry, validation and analysis.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree or equivalent qualification or experience, plus relevant work-based experience
  • Evidence of a commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable

  • Project Management qualification
  • ECDL

Experience

Essential

  • Proven ability to provide senior administrative services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deal with confidential and occasionally complex and sensitive matters with diplomacy and expertise.

Desirable

  • Knowledge and experience of using Trust systems
  • Knowledge of appraisal, revalidation, and job planning processes

Skills

Essential

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft office software e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams and other IT skills acquired through training and practical experience, including keyboard skills and data manipulation
