- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. We are a very friendly, family orientated and innovative practice with about 3300 patients which continues to grow. Our clinical team includes GPs, Practice Nurse, Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioner, Social Link Prescriber, Health and Well-Being Coach and Care Coordinator all working together to provide the high levels of clinical excellence and support to our patients. We also thrive in staff training and progression.
We use EMIS Web clinical system with Docman 10 and have a great Administrative support Team with a triage system to manage workload.
Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent qualification)
- Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300)
- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Competence in history taking, clinical assessment, and decision-making
Desirable
- Postgraduate modules in minor illness / minor injury management
- Qualification or training in long-term condition management (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
- Experience or certification in primary care / GP surgery
- Teaching, mentoring, or leadership qualification
Experience
Essential: - - Experience of working within a nursing team; - - Experience of dealing with vulnerable patients
Desirable: - - Experience of working in a GP practice
