Essential

• (Band 7 & Band 8a) Registered Nurse with Valid NMC registration or Health Care Professional and registered with HCPC with relevant clinical experience
• (Band 7 & Band 8a) A full master's in advanced clinical Practice which may be via the apprenticeship route
• (Band 7 & Band 8a) Advanced Physical Assessment module and Non-Medical Prescribing.
• (Band 7) Advanced life support qualification ALS or willingness to undertake
• (Band7 & Band 8a) Advanced Physical Assessment module and Non-Medical Prescribing.
• (Band 8a) MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or NHSE Centre for Advancing Practice Advanced Practice Digital Badge
• (Band 8a) Advanced life support qualification ALS
• (Band 7 & Band 8a) Evidence of relevant continuous professional development
• (Band 8a) Recognised Leadership Award/qualification or equivalent experience
• (Band 7 & Band 8a) To have completed the national practice assessor training or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification for those with ENB998

Essential

• (Band 7 & Band 8a) Significant relevant experience as a qualified ACP
• (Band 8a) Must be able to evidence and demonstrate experience of ability to act as an independent, senior decision maker in a clinical team using published specialist curricula where available
• (Band 8a) Evidence of portfolio of practice and sign off of competence of knowledge, skills and experience across all 4 pillars of advanced practice using CASP
• (Band7) Evidence of portfolio of practice and sign off competence of knowledge
• (Band 7 & Band 8a) Experience of working in an extended role with experience of autonomous practice Evidence of knowledge and expertise in the care and management of Haematology patients
• (Band 8a) Evidence of contribution to audit and research programs

• (Band 8a) Experience of training, supervising and assessing competence of junior colleagues (medical staff / ACP's / NMAHPs)
• (Band 8a) Understanding and use of clinical governance in a practice setting and of dealing with complaints and managing / investigating clinical or other incidents

• (Band 7 & Band 8a) In depth knowledge of pathophysiology of all conditions seen in the speciality and their management
• (Band 7 & Band 8a) Able to analyse and synthesise patient information to formulate appropriate diagnoses and management plans
• (Band 7 & Band 8a) High standard of written and verbal communication - able to present and receive complex information and communicate effectively with all grades of staff and patients / families
• (Band 8a) Effective leadership, negotiation, and reasoning skills with the ability to influence, coach and motivate others
• (Band 7 & Band 8a) Can prioritise and manage own workload and support junior personnel in managing theirs when faced with conflicting pressures

• (Band 7 & Band 8a) Knowledge and experience of bespoke advanced practice appraisal processes e.g. Practitioner E-Portfolio & CASP
