Job Introduction

Job Title: Adult Front Door Social Worker

Salary: £19,757 - £24,490 per annum

21 Hours per Week

Location: Wildwood Worcestershire

Team: Adult Front Door

The Adult Front Door is the single point of access for Adult Social Care in Worcestershire. As part of this dynamic team, you will provide a timely, strengths based response to incoming referrals, supporting adults, families and professionals to access the right support at the right time.

This is a telephony based role where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for responding to complex enquiries, undertaking proportionate assessments, managing urgent and duty work, and making informed decisions that promote independence, wellbeing and prevention. Working alongside a range of partners, you will use your professional judgement to identify risk, provide advice and guidance, and ensure individuals receive an effective and high quality response.

We are looking for a social worker who thrives in a busy environment, can confidently manage competing demands and are passionate about delivering person centred, strengths based practice. Excellent communication skills, sound decision making and the ability to build rapport quickly over the telephone are essential.

In return, you will join a supportive and experienced team committed to innovation, early intervention and achieving positive outcomes for the people of Worcestershire.
