Main Duties
-
Meeting and greeting patients in a friendly, welcoming and professional manner.

Booking, cancelling and rearranging patient appointments.

Dealing with patient enquiries in person, by telephone and via email.

Answering telephone calls and directing patients to the appropriate service or member of the team.

Managing incoming and outgoing emails and responding to queries appropriately.

Scanning and uploading patient correspondence and documents onto the clinical system.

Coding patient information and ensuring records are kept accurate and up to date.

Maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.

Working closely with the wider practice team to ensure patients receive a high-quality and efficient service.

Providing general administrative and reception support as required.
We are looking for two friendly, approachable and enthusiastic Care Navigators to join our fun, supportive mixed-age team at Butetown Medical Practice.
The role involves meeting and greeting patients, booking appointments, dealing with patient enquiries, answering telephone calls and emails, and providing general reception and administrative support. Duties will also include scanning, coding and maintaining accurate patient records.
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, caring and has excellent communication skills, with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing a welcoming service to our patients.
