What You'll Be Doing
As the first point of contact for many of our service users, you'll provide a professional, welcoming and supportive service while delivering essential administrative support to the wider clinical team.
Key responsibilities include
Acting as the first point of contact for service users, carers and professionals
Managing high volumes of telephone calls and enquiries
Monitoring and responding to incoming emails
Carrying out reception duties when required
Processing referrals accurately and efficiently
Booking and amending appointments
Preparing and typing clinical correspondence
Preparing agendas and taking meeting minutes
Maintaining accurate records on our electronic patient record system (RIO)
Providing administrative support to clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team
We're looking for someone who is
Enthusiastic, motivated and highly organised
Able to work effectively in a busy environment with changing priorities
A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Professional, compassionate and able to communicate confidently with a wide range of people
Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
Detail-focused with excellent administration skills
Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook - training will be provided for our electronic patient record system, RIO.
Able to maintain accurate records and demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE English and Maths Level 4/C or above, or a good standard of literacy and numeracy.
- RSA II or equivalent experience in typing/word processing.
