The Dorset All Age Eating Disorders Service are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Secretary who preferably has a comprehensive knowl...

You will support all Eating Disorder clinical staff by undertaking administrative and clerical duties including registering referrals, scheduling of appointments, typing all therapists' letters, team meeting minutes, professionals meeting minutes, as well as reception duties and answering and appropriately directing all calls into the service.

You will provide information to patients, staff, carers, relatives, GPs, Community Health Teams, relating to appointments, patient care, service pathways and meetings, verballyby telephone, face to face or written in a tactful and courteous manner often requiringnon-clinical advice involving careful analysis of delicate situations regarding patientcare, requiring knowledge of patient confidentiality.

You will organise and prioritise own routine and non-routine daily workload. To have input into developing, organising and implementing new office procedures and systems e.g.developing/updating databases, procedures for processing referrals and general day-to-day business.

  • Recent previous experience within a comparable role.

  • Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and data base management
