As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll be responsible for creating a stimulating environment that allows for the delivery of exceptional care and support for residents. The role involves devising imaginative and motivational activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities. You'll spend time getting to know the residents and their families to create targeted activity programs promoting wellbeing, independence, and social engagement. An extremely rewarding role, part of your time as an Activities Coordinator will be spent getting to know our residents and their families before you create tailored activities programmes focused on maximising everyone's wellbeing, independence and social engagement.
ABOUT YOUYou'll need to be warm, empathetic and personable to join us as an Activities Coordinator. Any similar experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential especially because we'll make sure you have the training you need to develop your skills and progress your career with us.
