Activities Assistant - Care Home

As an Activities Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll deliver imaginative, fun and varied activities designed to ensure our residents enjoy a motivational and fulfilling environment. This role involves helping us deliver a diverse programme of entertainment and activities, including pastimes, social activities, outings, and events. You'll play a part in helping residents live as independently as possible while enhancing their engagement with family, friends, and the community. This position is a 12-month maternity cover contract, requiring 36 hours per week, based in Stoke on Trent. Enthusiasm, creativity, and motivation skills are crucial, along with a genuine interest in the people we support. The Activities Assistant role involves helping us to deliver an entertainment and activities programme that covers a wide range of pastimes, social activities, outings and events. Put simply, you'll help every resident to live as independently as possible and enhance their involvement with their family, friends and the local community.This is a fixed 12 months contract - Maternity Cover - 36 hours per week
