We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Neighbourhood Service Manager to lead our Guildford Adult Community Mental Health service team. This role of...

Operational Leadership

Support the General Manager in leading the integrated community mental health team to ensure high-quality service delivery for all adults 18+.

Develop, review, and maintain systems to ensure the service aligns with national standards, CQC guidelines, local Trust policies and service plans.

Collaborate with other teams and work across organisational boundaries to ensure effective service alignment. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote an environment of involvement and recovery.

Team Management, Leadership and Development

Have overall continuous management of the service, responsible for the coordination of roles, responsibilities and resources within the service.

Manage, support, and develop a team of mental health professionals, including managing VCSE staff in collaboration with VCSE leads.

Establish structures for staff to receive management and clinical/professional supervision.

Foster a collaborative, supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and service excellence.

Ensure that all staff members adhere to policies and practices that ensure high quality care and service delivery.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Leadership/Management qualification or relevant training and experience
  • Professional qualification at Diploma/Degree level i.e. RMN, HCPC, SWE
  • Professional Registration NMC, HCPC, SWE

Experience

Essential

  • Significant relevant experience working at management level in a health or social care provider service
  • Extensive experience working in adult mental health services
  • Experience of working closely with people with lived experience and Carer representative to co-design improvements to service delivery
