Job description
Young Carers Project Worker and Capacity Builder based in Huntingdon and Peterborough 35 hours per week £25,000 to £30,000 per annum (pro rata) Centre 33 is looking to recruit a Young Carers Project Worker, with extensive experience working with young people, to support the delivery of Centre 33’s Young Carer service in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. You will be part of the Young Carers Project at Centre 33, providing a variety of support to Young Carers and professionals. Your role will involve assessment of young people, face to face support, group work, raising awareness of Young Carers and Young Adult Carers and promoting partnership working. This post is a critical part of the Young Carers’ service and involves working and engaging with young people and professionals in a variety of settings. You will be working across various locations in Huntingdonshire and Peterborough, with occasional travel to other areas within Cambridgeshire. A driving license and use of a car is essential for this post. This post is subject to a DBS check and references. Centre 33 is an equal opportunities employer.
