We are looking for a Ward Manger (RMN/RNLD) to join our team at Cygnet Kewstoke.

Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke provides emergency admissions services for men and women, and a pathway for women to rehabilitation including a specialist service for personality disorder.

Your day-to-day… You'll be working full time 37.5 hours per week.

Pay Rate - £ 61,590.00 per annum • Provide suggestions, proposals & recommendations to the Hospital Manager aimed at the continued development of the ward• Contribute & participate in planned visits to the ward by professional visitors• Initiate & maintain a monitoring system in relation to professional nursing practice at unit level, including pin numbers & the current registration of all qualified staff• Ensure that the evaluation of service delivery is user (i.e. patient, carer & family) based• Advise non-clinical staff within the hospital on management of patients with mental illness• Ensure patients’ rights to confidentiality are respected & that Cygnet Health Care & professional policies are adhered to.You are… • Committed to delivering improvement strategies across all aspects of clinical service provision• Familiar with an in-patient setting• Experienced in managing change, leadership initiatives, motivating & developing others• Open, compassionate, honest & resilient• Capable of undertaking audits, developing, following-up & ensuring completion of action plans• Well-informed of the Mental Health Act & the latest nursing practices• Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage & reduce risk.Why Cygnet?
