The main roles are answering the phone, good basic computer skills, ensuring patients appointments have been booked, filing and organising on the clinical area.
Ensuring stock is ordered and equipment maintained. Identifying any problems with cleanliness, ensuring all surfaces are cleaned appropriately.
Knowledge of CoSHH.

The role of the ward clerk is to answer phone and deal with patient enquires. file notes, ensure documentation is correct ordering documentation required for the ward.
Ensuring the digital boards are correct with consultant information. Using the IPM system making sure patient has been arrived for their appointment and new appointments given, sending out appointment letters .
The Housekeeper will work as an integral part of the ward teams. He/she will be responsible for the co-ordination of all patient facilities services in the ward areas and ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment.The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of cleaning, catering, and minor maintenance, together with other specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the ward sister/charge nurse.The postholder will be required to work closely with contractors and support service departments. He/she will monitor quality standards, report deficiencies and take appropriate action.
