- To provide day to day support to all levels of staff and patients within the Colposcopy/ Vulvoscopy clinics at UHCW and Rugby St Cross
- Availability for all scheduled training sessions to ensure training is achievable within the allocated time frame training typically takes between 12 to 18 months
- Nurse Colposcopy training is extremely intense, and the successful candidate will be expected to always work alongside the Trained Colposcopist to ensure the level of detail expected from the training is achieved. Once qualified the individual will be expected to diagnose and treat cervical and vulval cancer within the colposcopy setting within BSCCP guidelines
- To be proactive in all areas of colposcopy training e.g. manage own logbook and online training and preparation for formal BSCCP OSCE assessment in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Essential: - oRGN Current NMC Registered oDegree level nursing oEvidence of continuous professional development. oStudy at level 6 (degree / diploma)
Desirable: - oTeaching/mentorship experience/ qualifications
Experience
Essential: - oExperience in Womens health or Gynaecology/sexual health related area at band 5 or above with Colposcopy experience
Knowledge
Essential: - oKnowledge of the NHS cervical screening programme. oKnowledge of professional code of conduct oAware of clinical governance oAudit experience
Skills
Essential: - oEvidence of good communication skills oIT skills/ database skills oPriorities and able to meet deadlines
Desirable: - oCounselling skills
