Friendly, professional and reliable.Enthusiastic with a willingness to learn.Confident communicating with patients and colleagues.Comfortable using basic computer systems.Enrolled on, or planning to enrol on, the NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing (proof of enrolment required).Eligible to work in the UK.In possession of a National Insurance number.Vaccinated against Hepatitis B The Role: We are currently seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse who is passionate about patient care and keen to develop a long-term career within dentistry. No previous dental experience is required and full training will be provided. Working alongside experienced dentists, implant clinicians, hygienists, qualified dental nurses and the wider practice team, you'll gain valuable practical experience while developing your clinical knowledge and confidence. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing treatment rooms before patient appointments.Providing chairside support during a wide range of dental procedures.Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.Following cross-infection control and health and safety procedures.Supporting patients throughout their appointments.Maintaining accurate patient records and assisting with general administrative duties.Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.Developing your knowledge through practical experience and ongoing training.
