Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse (2 Positions Available) Location: Mitcham, Surrey, CR4 Salary: Starting from £14 per hour Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Operating Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 8:45 am to 5:30 pmTuesday: 8:45 am to 7:00 pmThursday: 8:30 am to 5:30 pmSaturday: By appointment only (Half Day) Location: Accessible by local public transport from surrounding areas of South London and Surrey. Treatments include general and preventive dentistry, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, dental hygiene, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, dentures, dental implants, teeth whitening and Invisalign. What You Will Be Doing: Your day-to-day duties will include:
Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visitSetting up surgeries and ensuring equipment and materials are preparedSupporting clinicians throughout patient treatments and proceduresAssisting with the efficient running of appointments and clinical sessionsSupporting accurate clinical records and patient informationCleaning, decontaminating and sterilising instruments in line with infection control proceduresFollowing practice procedures, health and safety requirements and professional standardsHelping maintain a clean, safe and organised clinical environmentWorking closely with the wider dental and reception team Learning and Development: This position is designed to give you valuable practical experience while you develop as a Dental Nurse. You will have the opportunity to gain experience across general and preventative dentistry as well as areas such as cosmetic treatments, restorative dentistry, dental implants and Invisalign. You will receive guidance and support throughout your training, helping you put what you learn during your qualification into practice and develop the skills required for your future career.
