What will you be doing?Have you ever considered a career in care?We are excited to offer a part-time opportunity within our Community Day Services team, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities in East Kent. As a Support Worker, you will help individuals develop essential life skills, use, and be part of their local communities, and achieve their personal goals. You will deliver person-centred, outcome-focused support. Your role will involve:Supporting individuals to achieve personal goals and aspirations Promoting independence through tailored care plans Encouraging social inclusion and community participation Assisting with some intimate personal care and mobility needs, including manual handling Collaborating with colleagues across East Kent services as needed This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
