Are you an experienced Support Worker or Healthcare Assistant looking for a rewarding waking night role? Do you have experience supporting individuals with epilepsy, learning disabilities, or complex care needs?
Superior Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and resilient Waking Night Clinical Support Worker to support a young man living in his own home in Faversham.
- Dravet Syndrome
- Osteoporosis
- Postural scoliosis (following corrective surgery)
- Developmental delays
This role focuses on providing overnight care and clinical observation, supporting the client through a busy night-time routine and managing his complex health needs.
As a Waking Night Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the client’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night. The successful candidate will be confident in monitoring and responding to clinical needs while also providing reassurance and emotional support when required.
Experience supporting individuals with epilepsy is highly desirable, as our client can experience between 1–8 seizures per night. Previous experience supporting individuals with post-surgical needs, learning disabilities, lack of capacity, or behaviours of concern would also be advantageous.
While this is a clinical-focused position, applicants should also have the warmth, patience, and person-centred approach of an experienced Support Worker.
Experienced in supporting individuals with epilepsy and complex care needs
Calm, observant, and able to remain focused during overnight shifts
Resilient and confident working in challenging situations
Compassionate and supportive, with a genuine desire to improve someone’s quality of life
Experienced in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and behaviours of concern
Confident in using positive behaviour support and de-escalation approaches
Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality care
Able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
If you are a resilient, caring professional with a passion for complex care and epilepsy support, we’d love to hear from you. Join us and help deliver exceptional care where it matters most – at home.
