Quarriers delivers a range of high-quality support services across Renfrewshire, supporting adults with diverse needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, autism, mental health support needs, and complex care requirements.
Our services are person-centred and focused on enabling people to live as independently as possible, achieve their personal goals, and participate fully in their local communities. No two days are the same, and every individual we support has their own unique aspirations, preferences, and support needs.
We have a variety of Support Worker opportunities available across Renfrewshire, with a range of contracted hours to suit different lifestyles. This may include full-time, part-time, early mornings,evenings &weekends,
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping people live fulfilling and independent lives. Depending on the service and the needs of the individuals you support, your responsibilities may include:
- Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs and goals.
- Supporting with day-to-day living tasks and household routines.
- Assisting with personal care where required.
- Supporting individuals to access education, employment, social activities, and community opportunities.
- Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion.
- Supporting individuals to develop life skills and achieve personal outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with families, colleagues, and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records and following relevant policies and procedures.
- A genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives.
- Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to meet varying shift patterns and service needs.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is advantageous for some services, but not essential.

Successful candidates may be required to work across a variety of shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, waking nights and sleepovers, depending on the needs of the service.
Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within three months of their start date.
