Support Worker

Make a Difference Every Day We are looking for compassionate and skilled Support Worker to help our residents lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals. Southern Hill Hospital is preparing to open a new specialist Addiction Treatment Service for adults aged 18 and over, providing high-quality, person-centred support for individuals affected by substance misuse and co-occurring mental health needs. Our new service is being developed to offer compassionate, evidence-based care within a safe and therapeutic environment where individuals can begin rebuilding stability, confidence, and independence. What You’ll be Doing

Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.Support residents in developing and maintaining their independence.Help residents with meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks.Provide emotional support and companionship.Maintain accurate records and documentation.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Ensure a safe and clean-living environment for residents. What You’ll Need

Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a support workerStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.NVQ2 in Health and Social Care & First aid Trained Why Join Us?
