Job description
We are recruiting for Support Workers to join our team! At Elizabeth House, our acute inpatient mental health service provides a safe and stabilising environment for men and women who are in crisis, experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and requiring an emergency admission. The ethos across our service is about assessing and treating service users in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion. With a focus on stabilisation, we support service users to manage their mental health, reinforce daily living skills and prepare for independent life back in the community. What you’ll be Doing
Provide care and support to residentsMonitor residents' well-being and respond to their needsMaintain accurate records and follow care guidelines.Ensure a safe and calm environment throughout the nightMaintain accurate records and documentationCollaborate with the team to deliver exceptional care What You’ll Need
Great communication and teamwork skills.A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to helping others.Understanding of Dementia Care PracticesQualifications such as Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 In Health & Social Care.Must be trained in Moving & Handling. Why Join us?
