Support Worker – St Austell – £13.50–£14.00 per hour

What you'll be doing You'll provide person-centred support, helping the people you support to live as independently as possible and enjoy a fulfilling everyday life. Your role may include:

Supporting with daily livingProviding emotional and practical supportSupporting individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health issuesEncouraging independence and confidenceSupporting activities and community involvementFollowing individual care and support plansWorking as part of a friendly and professional care teamMaintaining a safe, respectful and positive environment What we're looking for We're looking for reliable, caring and enthusiastic people who have a genuine passion for supporting others. Experience in care is desirable, but the right attitude and personality are just as important. You should be:

Reliable and committedPatient, caring and compassionateConfident working with adults and/or childrenComfortable supporting people with additional needsAble to work effectively as part of a teamWilling to complete required training A valid DBS is required. Candidates already registered on the DBS Update Service are particularly welcome.
