We are currently looking for Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Cygnet Clynsaer, a specialist residential service set in the beautiful Welsh countryside near Llandovery, Carmarthenshire.

Please note: due to current sponsorship allocation limitations, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

New starter bonus: £1,000 payable upon successful completion of probation. Current employees can also receive a £500 refer-a-friend bonus when their referral successfully passes probation.

Support Worker Jobs in Llandovery, Carmarthenshire

Located in the peaceful countryside of Cynghordy near Llandovery, Cygnet Clynsaer, formerly Oakview Care, provides specialist residential support for adults with learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge.

This is a full-time Support Worker position working within a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week service. You will work day shifts from 8:00am to 9:00pm, typically three shifts per week, including some weekend working.

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping the people we support achieve their goals and enjoy the best possible quality of life.

  • Providing compassionate, person-centred support while promoting dignity, choice and respect
  • Supporting individuals with personal care and daily living activities
  • Assisting with meal preparation and encouraging healthy lifestyles
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable home environment
  • Helping individuals develop independence and essential life skills
  • Supporting access to education, leisure and community activities
  • Following support plans, positive behaviour support strategies and risk assessments
  • Administering medication following training and competency assessments
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to effective handovers
