We are recruiting on behalf of a dedicated and compassionate organisation based in Rochdale that is looking for experienced and caring Support Workers to join their team. You will be working within a supportive and professional team environment, providing person-centred care and support to individuals with a range of needs. - Providing practical and emotional support to individuals in line with their personal care plans
- Assisting with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and medication support
- Supporting individuals to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life
- Encouraging participation in social, recreational, and community activities
- Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support and their families
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and other agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes
- Previous experience in a support worker, care worker, or similar role is desirable
- A genuine passion for supporting others and making a positive difference
- A warm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Good communication skills — both written and verbal
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and shift patterns as required
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential depending on the role
- Competitive hourly rate of £18.00 – £23.00 per hour depending on experience
