Hours: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent – Full-time

As a Support Worker, you will work directly with people in their homes and in the community. You will be expected to support people with a variety of needs, enabling them to live the lives they want.
- Building great relationships with people we support and the people important to their lives
- Promoting choice and participation when supporting people with daily tasks
- Co-creating opportunities for people to try new things and offering information to support people to make their own choices
- Offering personalised support by working with people’s strength to build their confidence and overcome obstacles with the aim of achieving their goals
- Encouraging people to participate in activities that bring them joy and meaning

To be a Support Worker at Certitude, it is essential you have:
- Ability to motivate others and build their confidence to try new things, meet new people, support others to get things achieved.
- A good understanding of accountability, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
- Understanding the challenges that are likely to be faced by people with mental health or learning disability related issues.
- Knowledge of the Transforming Care Agenda.
You will be given training, development and coaching to help you feel confident in providing great support and to help you advance in your career.
