I’m a wheelchair user and have complex behavioural, cognitive, and physical needs. I’m described by the people who know me best as ‘a real character’, funny, cheeky and determined. I’m a sociable, young man with a great sense of humour, but can get very anxious when trying new things or going to new places, it can take me a little while to get used to new people. When I get anxious, I don’t always react in the right way, but when I’m put at ease, I can be very good company. I would like support to access community facilities or to experience social and leisure activities, engage in therapy, and to further develop my life skills.
