The job involves making a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals and delivering positive person-centered outcomes for people with complex support needs. The role requires enthusiasm, great people skills, and a positive and proactive approach. Support workers will be working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health issues, and complex needs. The position is located in various services across Rainham, Rochester, and Gillingham in Kent. The job includes encouraging independence, supporting activities of daily living, effective communication, engaging and motivating service users, specializing in positive behavioral support, recording accurate records, and working as a team member. Where youll be working

We are looking for Support Workers to work in our services across;Rainham, Rochester, Gillingham in Kent.

What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
  • 12 months Experience in Support Work
  • A full valid UK drivers Licence

As part of your day to day work you will be offering the following;

Encouraging people to play active roles in the communities in which they live, to encourage independence.

Supporting Activities of daily Living including social activities, personal care, routines, planning and preparation of meals and budgeting.

Communicating - effectively communicate using peoples chosen methods

Engaging - promoting and motivating people we support to enhance their quality of life

Specialising - supporting people who may need positive behavioural support approaches

Recording - keeping accurate records &reporting changes in health or circumstances of service users to management

Team player Working as part of a team, as well as being able to work using your own initiative.
