Staff Nurse - Vulnerable Children Information Team

We are seeking a full-time Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Vulnerable Children Information Team. This is a Monday to Friday role, working core hours of 9am to 5pm, with office-based working required in line with service needs. The post is not patient-facing and does not involve holding a caseload. You will attend multi-agency strategy meetings, present and discuss relevant and proportionate health information, and contribute to safe, appropriate decision-making, risk assessment and safeguarding planning for vulnerable children. You will also respond to health information requests from social workers completing family assessments and support students and other learners.

The post holder will support Public Health Nursing Children's Services by ensuring high-quality, relevant and proportionate health information is shared appropriately. They will attend multi-agency statutory strategy discussions for children, contributing to risk analysis and planning. Key responsibilities include preparing health information for strategy meetings, documenting discussions, disseminating relevant information, and sharing health information to support social work assessments.
