An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, dynamic, hard-working Band 5 Staff Nurse, who is able to work flexibly and use their own initiative to work...
As a Staff Nurse you will be involved in the day to day running of the department. This will include checking visual acuities using various test types, checking baseline observations including Temp, BP , Pulse, BM, ECG's and managing a caseload of patients in a timely manner.
You will carrying out pre-operative assessment and perform a variety of diagnostic tests such as Biometry, Pentacam, Auto refract and OCT's.Administration of medication in a variety of forms for eg., Oral, Intra Muscular and Intra Venous and performing phlebotomy and cannulation procedures.
