Qualifications and knowledge

Essential

  • Registered general nurse
  • Evidence of professional updating

Desirable

  • Mentoring and teaching in the clinical setting
  • Educated to degree level

Experience

Essential

  • Acute nursing care
  • Care of patients with surgical care needs
  • Ability to identify deteriorating patients
