Staff Nurse -PPU

Your role will include planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of patient's care following agreed care pathways, assisting with the provision of an environment conductive to the education of staff and the cleaning, maintenance and safe handling of equipment.

You will need to be proficient in the care of patient's pre and post cardiac intervention, demonstrating skills in the care and management of the critically ill patient, working closely with all members of the care team to ensure the needs of the critically ill patient are met.

You will develop and maintain good unit management and organisational skills and assist with the provision of an environment conductive to the education of staff.

Essential: - NMC Registered Nurse

Desirable: - Evidence of CPD; - Efficient Communication skills

Essential: - IV Cannulation trained; - BLS trained

Desirable: - Cardiac Course; - ILS trained
