- To maintain accurate, comprehensive and up to date documentation and record data according to Departmental policy.
- To ensure knowledge of and compliance with the policies and plans for Fire, Major Incident, Control of Infection and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- To report to the Sister/Charge Nurse, Senior Nurse or Directorate Manager, any undue occurrence that may be either witnessed or reported.
- To be an effective practitioner with the ability to develop clinical expertise in the care of patients in the outpatient setting and to ensure that due attention is paid to the needs of relatives and friends of patients in the Department.

Education
Essential: - RGN - 1st or 2nd Level registration
Experience
Essential: - Evidence of continuing professional development; - Relevant Acute NHS experience; - Experience of working in an outpatient/theatre/recovery environment
Desirable: - Administration of Intravenous medication, Cannulation, bloods
