- Initial assessment and completion of documentation of patients with acute medical presentations.
- Regular assessment of patients treatment needs and planning accordingly.
- Pressure ulcer prevention.
- Administration of medication, including IV medication.
- Liaising with other departments to coordinate patient care and treatment.
- Adhering to Infection prevention policies and procedures.
- Successful candidates will be supported to develop their skills and knowledge in acute medicine by senior nursing team and by Practice Development nurse.
- AMU is a dynamic area ideal for individuals with a flexible and adaptable nature.
