Job description

Speech & Language Therapist. Band 6/7. Specialist SEN School

Location: London Salary: Dependent on experience, aligned with NHS Band 6/7 rates Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday Contract: Locum. Term time only Start: Immediate start preferred

We are recruiting for 2 Speech & Language Therapists to join a specialist SEN school in London supporting children and young people with complex learning, communication, physical and medical needs. We are seeking experienced Paediatric Speech & Language Therapists with previous experience working within education settings. The ideal candidate will have:

HCPC registration.Strong paediatric SALT experience.Previous experience working within a school or education setting.Experience supporting children with complex SEN and communication needs. Dysphagia experience is highly desirable.

Experience working collaboratively with education, health and care professionals.Strong assessment, intervention and care planning skills. Band 6 candidates are preferred, although Band 7 candidates may also be considered depending on experience. Immediate availability is preferred.
