This post is based at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. The post holder will be participating in:
- Contributing to the neuro inpatient caseload, delivering therapy plans to service users and their families.
- Delivering group therapy where appropriate.
- Working as part of a team.
- Supporting with development of resources for use with service users.
- Contribution to data collection and recording, to support with service delivery and outcomes.

Education and qualifications
Essential
- Good standard of spoken and written English
- A levels or equivalent
Desirable
- Level 5 qualification or equivalent
- CPD portfolio - evidence of attendance at short courses, formal training
Experience
Essential
- Basic understanding of the role of SLT in Acute Neuro setting
Desirable
- 2 years experience as an SLTA
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organise workload and manage time
- Ability to be a good team member
Desirable
- Knowledge of standards of record keeping
