Specialty Doctor – Sexual Health (GUM)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Specialty Doctor in Sexual Health to join a busy sexual health service, with a strong focus on Genitourinary Medicine (GUM). The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in sexual health/GUM and contraception, excellent communication skills and a good understanding of NHS services. No on-call commitment is required. Main Duties You will primarily work across specialist GUM clinics, including:

Complex GUM and genitourinary clinicsSTI diagnosis, treatment and managementMale and female chronic problem clinicsSexual dysfunctionComplex PrEPHigh Resolution AnoscopySexual health services for commercial sex workers There will also be opportunities to gain experience in contraception and LARC, including complex LARC. The service supports professional development, including formal sexual and reproductive health qualifications, clinical audit, research and teaching opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for a GUM-focused doctor looking to develop their experience within a comprehensive specialist sexual health service.
