Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist caseload, providing expert clinical care, advice and long-term support to patients living with a stoma
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care, including assessment, education, symptom management and health promotion to improve quality of life
- Work autonomously while collaborating closely with consultants, ward teams, community services and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Provide specialist advice and act as a clinical resource for other healthcare professionals within and outside the Trust
- Support service delivery and development through participation in audit, clinical governance, policy development and evidence-based practice
- Contribute to education and training of patients, carers, students and colleagues, sharing specialist knowledge and best practice
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage workload effectively to meet service priorities and patient needs.

- Proof of continuous update in specialist areas
