We seek an experienced Theatre Sister to lead the theatre team, ensuring safe, high-quality perioperative care. You will promote best practices, support workforce development, and optimize theatre services.
As a clinical expert, you will collaborate with anaesthetists, surgeons, and recovery staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes and comply with standards and policies.
We seek an experienced Theatre Sister to lead the theatre team, ensuring safe, high-quality perioperative care. You will promote best practices, support workforce development, and optimize theatre services.
As a clinical expert, you will collaborate with anaesthetists, surgeons, and recovery staff to achieve excellent patient outcomes and comply with standards and policies.
- Provide clinical leadership, ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Coordinate theatre services, ensuring effective staffing and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with standards, policies, and governance requirements.
- Lead training and competency assessments for practitioners and students.
- Collaborate with anaesthetists and teams for service improvement.
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement.
What you'll bring
- Registered Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse.
- ILS/ALS certified.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- 5+ years' experience in Anaesthetics/Scrub, including senior experience.
- Experience leading teams in a theatre environment.
- Staff supervision and performance management experience.
- Knowledge of clinical governance and patient safety.
