Key responsibilities include:
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young peopleActing as a positive role model and mentorBuilding effective relationships with young people, families and professionalsSupporting education, health appointments and recreational activitiesCompleting daily records, reports and care documentationContributing to care planning and risk assessmentsSupporting colleagues and helping maintain high standards within the homePromoting positive outcomes and achieving placement objectives Requirements To be considered for this Senior Residential Support Worker opportunity, applicants should have:
Previous experience within a Children's Residential Care settingExperience supporting young people with EBDA strong understanding of safeguarding practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA positive and resilient approachLevel 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred but not essential)Full UK driving licence (preferred) Career Progression This position would suit an ambitious Senior Residential Support Worker seeking long-term career development.
